Sagar & Vidya’s Shaddi

The story is about a simple naive village girl name Vidya from Banaras. The twist in her life takes place when she gets married to a mentally challenged man named Sagar Pratap Singh who refuses to take her side. Sindoora (Sagar’s stepsister), is jealous of Vidya because all her dad’s property is in Vidya’s name, and so she tries to kick her out. However, Sindoora’s husband comes back from a business trip and with Sindoora and Aniket’s 10 year son Bharat. He makes Vidya stay in Sagar’s room and so Bharat and Sagar try to pull pranks on Vidya to get her to leave. Sagar gets sick and Sindoora tells Vidya to get Sagar medicine and because Vidya is an illiterate, meaning she can’t read or write, she by mistake grabs poison. However before she gave it to Sagar, Sindoora throws it out of her hand. Sagar gets mad and the next day he was about to hit Vidya in the hand with a ruler however he sees that her hand is covered with blood. This was the first time Sagar found out Vidya isn’t bad she does things by mistake. Slowly Sagar accepts Vidya and calls her his best friend. (He thae falls in love with her that, to the point where he can’t live without her).
